In the south of Tenerife there is an extensive and varied coastline full of beaches where you can enjoy the sun and the sea.

El Médano Beach

El Médano beach is located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.

This beach is located in the center of the neighborhood of El Médano. It is characterized by its fine sand, shallow depth and for being surrounded by a long promenade that connects the old port with the Red Mountain. Along this promenade and its surroundings you can visit a wide variety of commercial establishments with stores, cafes, bars and restaurants where you can taste the best gastronomy.

Yellow Mountain Beach

The beach of Montaña Amarilla is a small singular cove of volcanic stone at the foot of the Montaña Amarilla Natural Monument, declared a protected natural reserve. It is located in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona, right on the border with the neighboring municipality of Arona, specifically in the area of Costa del Silencio.

The erosion of the contact of the mountain with the sea, the ocher and yellow color of the stone and the crystalline seabed, make this area a special place to spend a relaxing day in a unique enclave. Its seabed is ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling.

As it is a small cove of volcanic rock, we recommend that you use booties for swimming.

You can access on foot from the parking lot next to the cove.
